Why People Love Anime - Romance

Anime does justice to the ‘romance’ genre. The main characters in Anime consider holding hands to be a big deal and kissing to be an enormous step. They also tend to worry too much about their first kisses, get embarrassed when hugging people of the opposite sex and blush quite often when they are around the ones they have feelings for. While these would make the series and the romance needlessly longer than the popular western live-action ones, the moments they share have a cute feeling to them and when they finally get together and the suspense is over with, it leaves the audience with a feeling that keeps them wanting more.

Anime VS Manga

Anime is not to be confused with manga. 'Anime' refers to films and animations in a movie format. Manga, on the other hand, refers to comic books and graphic novels. It is usually drawn completely in black and white, and is usually read from right to left, top to bottom as opposed to other comics that are read from left to right.

Why People Love Anime - Expressions

1. Humans are beings capable of thought. These thoughts tend to show on their faces sometimes in the form of a smile for happy thoughts, a frown for unhappy thoughts, crying on sad thoughts and so on. However, humans are also capable of masking these expressions from leaking out making it hard to tell what they are thinking. In anime however, the expressions are there for the viewers to see but at the same time, some are hidden to prevent spoilers.
